SCRIPTURE SOURCES
The words have a source.
Abide’s current English content plan uses the World English Bible Protestant Edition (WEBP), also identified as engwebp. The text is prepared from the official source archive and checked against its verse data.
Source and attribution
World English Bible Protestant Edition (WEBP / engwebp), sourced from eBible.org. The local source archive was downloaded on October 21, 2026. The WEBP text is public domain according to its published copyright information; “World English Bible” is a trademark. The app uses the source text without editorial alteration. Curated selections, references, context notes and widget layouts remain under review before release.
What this means in Abide
The app does not fetch Scripture from eBible.org at runtime. The planned release content is bundled with the app. The interface has five languages, while the current Scripture text plan is English WEBP. No audio or other Bible translation is included in the current source archive.
